The Way Drugs Are Discovered Will Be Different in the Future | Alzheimer’s Front Row

This amazes me. What do you think?

Starting with morphine way back in 1827 there are only 1,453 drugs.

It now cost upwards of $1.5 Billion to get a new drug approved and on to the market. Most of the $1.5 Billion is spent on the clinical trials. We need a revolution in the way drugs are discovered and approved.

This article really fascinated me – What do you think?
